Our Outdoor Collection is made of 100% solid timber - FLEGT licensed Indonesian teak. FLEGT stands for Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade. FLEGT license is different from FSC certification. FLEGT is an initiative to fight illegal logging and the license complies with EU Timber Regulation. This ensures that timber is legally sourced, harvested, processed and imported. The FSC and FLEGT work hand in hand. The FLEGT action plan promotes sustainable public procurement and has contributed to the European success of the FSC.
