I like all the ingenious ways to organise storage on Pinterest but I don’t always have the time or materials at hand to create them. So when I found this really simple but very beautifully designed clothes storage unit from Denmark I immediately ordered it for the showrooms and also for myself. I have a small child’s room that requires some ingenious storage. This is perfect.
Introducing the super space saving wardrobe, Tojbox! This stylish wardrobe is the perfect small space clothes organiser. It’s described as nomadic by its Danish designer, Michael Daae, because he was moving around a lot when he designed it. He wanted something that was easy to assemble and useful. “I wanted to design a piece of furniture that was compatible with my nomadic lifestyle but still had a characteristic design. You just have to lean it against the wall where you want it.”
Really simple hanging storage
It’s a wardrobe and shelf combination designed in a way that maximises organisation and cuts down on the space required for a full size wardrobe. Plus it’s a great design. Perfect for smaller spaces or if you just don’t want a large, heavy-looking wardrobe in your room. Because the Tojbox leans against a surface, it requires less space in a room. Most wardrobes are at least 60cm deep and the Tojbox is just 38cm deep. A big space saver.
Hallway & entry way storage
We’ve found uses for it in the hallway as a hallway storage unit – hang coats and jackets on the rail and add baskets in the top ‘box’ gloves, hats, and umbrellas – even boots! It looks great as hallway storage because it’s slim and its simple design is attractive. This is a truly functional storage system because the top of the ‘box’ can also be used to feature your treasures, plants or even a lamp.
Bedroom wardrobe
In the bedroom the Tojbox works like a wardrobe for both hanging clothes and folded clothes but can also take bags or scarves on the end of the hanging pole. This is one of the prettiest hanging clothes storage solutions I’ve seen. Plus it is easily assembled and requires no tools! It sits easily against a wall but it also comes with 2 screws that can fix it to the wall if appropriate.
Super stylish child’s room storage
It’s the perfect child’s wardrobe because it would take smaller clothes, leaving room underneath for nice storage baskets. I’d try it with some mixed coloured baskets in the box top and a few underneath the hanging clothes to make an eye-catching storage wall in a child’s room. I'd advise fixing it to the wall in a child's room.
